Ibn Sina Pediatric Clinic, SW Houston
Twenty-three percent of our patient population is children under 21 years of age. These children neither have any medical insurance nor qualify for any of the public programs. More than 7,000 such children visit Ibn Sina clinic for medical and dental needs. Therefore, the board of Ibn Sina Foundation is expanding with a new Ibn Sina Pediatric Center in SW Houston to address the pressing needs of the under served children from low-income communities, and who have no access to health services. A full time pediatrician with dedicated staff serves children, who have health conditions ranging from minor medical ailments to early childhood diseases. Our target is to provide complete immunization to all children in the area, who are under two years of age and to help them enroll in National ImmTrac, Texas Immunization Registry.
