Muslim Mental Health Conference for Community Leaders

  • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Houston, Texas

For too long, mental health has not been given the attention it deserves in many communities. People suffer needlessly from otherwise treatable conditions, often hiding within the shadows, or living with the stigma that so often accompanies mental illness. The Muslim Mental Health Conference for Community Leaders is a unique forum to bring together community leaders in person to manage mental health issues in our communities. Here, they can engage, discuss, and develop a better understanding of the prevalence, challenges, and resources in managing these conditions. The goal of the conference is to challenge the status quo and create awareness about mental health and wellness among the larger Muslim community.
