Michelle P. Durham, MD, MPH
Michelle P. Durham, is the Chief Behavioral Health Officer for
Ibn Sina Foundation. Dr. Durham is leading the expansion of outpatient mental health services
and integrated mental health services for our clinics. She is a board certified physician
specializing in pediatric and adult psychiatry with additional board certification in addiction
medicine. Her public health and clinical roles have always been in marginalized communities
with a focus on health equity and advocacy for equitable mental health treatment globally and
locally. Prior to joining Ibn Sina, Dr. Durham was the Vice Chair of Education at Boston
Medical Center Department of psychiatry and Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry &
Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine. Her federally and privately funded research
focused on workforce development that reflects groups historically excluded from medicine,
training and education for both the pediatric workforce and mental health professionals. She has
expertise in pediatric integrated care, trauma in communities of color and training and education
for the both the pediatric workforce and mental health professionals and has presented nationally
and internationally on these topics. She is involved at the state and national level with the
American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
to improve the standard of care for adults, children and adolescents. She is has testified for the
U.S. Senate HELP and Finance Committees to advocate for increase funding, access and parity
in mental health.


Amina Abdula, MD
Dr. Amina Abdullah is a renowned Psychiatrist and works with Ibn
Sina for more than 20 years. She has over 53 years of experience in
the medical field and worked with various hospitals and organizations.
Dr Abdulla also served as a board member of many community
organizations and foundations.
Zia Khursheed, MD
Dr. Khursheed Zia, is a board certified in adult Psychiatry and has over
40 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Zia has extensive
experience in psychotic disorders and addiction and substance abuse. He
has been conferred many prestigious awards and certificates from many
renowned institutions for his exceptional services.


Neelam Ashfaq, BCH, NLP, EFT, EQ Coach.
Neelam is a Board-Certified Hypnotherapist, from National Guild of
Hypnosis USA, UK Hypnosis Academy and Dave Elman Institute of
Advance Hypnosis. Neelam is an EFT Practitioner, NLP and Emotional
Intelligence Coach from Berkeley United States. She deals with PTSD,
Smoking Addictions, Alcoholism, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Grief,
Phobias, etc. The approaches that she uses are CBT (Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EFT
(Emotional Freedom Technique) EMDR, etc. She has hands-on
experience in working with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Joyce Gonzalez
Joyce Castro – a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. Joyce holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy, from Hardin Simmons University. She is also certified in TGCT and Premarital Counseling. Believing that counseling is not one-size-fits-all, Joyce draws from the Person-Centered theoretical approach while incorporating Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy frameworks to create a treatment plan that is tailored to each individual client.
