About Ibn Sina Foundation (ISF)

We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, serving the community for more than two decades. The services provided include but are not limited to Medical, Dental, Diagnostic, Specialty, and Mental Health/Well-Being Program. We have served over one million patient visits in the last two decades. ISF has completed many projects and programs successfully with public and private partnerships. These Programs are sustainable and affordable. Ibn Sina focuses on preventing and controlling disease at an early stage.

Our robust team of psychiatrists, more than six licensed mental health professionals, a dedicated group of community health workers, skilled primary care providers, and multiple psychiatric consultants, all of whom are trained in the collaborative care model. Also, over a dozen mental health passionate volunteers, seeking professional healthcare careers.

We are open to all individuals seeking healthcare services, including primary and preventative care, behavioral health services, and substance use disorder treatment. Our collaborative care model ensures comprehensive support for a diverse patient population, including those affected by Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Ibn Sina Foundation receives $1.6 Million in Community Project Funding from Congressman Al Green

Ibn Sina Foundation receives $1.6 million in community project funding under omnibus appropriation bill for the fiscal year 2023. Congressman Al Green presented the check to the foundation during a press conference on Thursday.

Groundbreaking of Mental Wellness Center 2023

Groundbreaking event with Honorable Governor Abbott of “Ibn Sina Mental Wellness Center” was organized on December 20, 2022, at Ibn Sina Clinic located on S. Wilcrest Dr., Houston, TX. Governor Abbott, Syed Javaid Anwar, Mayor Sylvester Turner, Nasruddin Rupani, chairman and board members of Ibn Sina Foundation, and many other elected officials and dignitaries were part of the ceremonial groundbreaking.

Muslim Mental Health Conference for Community Leaders 2022

The Muslim Mental Health Conference for Community Leaders is a unique forum to bring together community leaders in person to manage mental health issues in our communities. Here, they can engage, discuss, and develop a better understanding of the prevalence, challenges, and resources in managing these conditions. The goal of the conference is to challenge the status quo and create awareness about mental health and wellness among the larger Muslim community.

Expansion of Mental Health Services in 2019

After Hurricane Harvey in 2019, Ibn Sina Foundation expanded mental health services and has been providing behavioral health assessments, counseling, and psychiatric consultations.
