Raheel Imtiaz Memon, MD, is a psychiatrist, physician leader, and medical educator serving as Associate Program Director of a Psychiatry Residency Program and Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.

He also holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.

His areas of expertise include graduate medical education, physician leadership, resident and IMG mentorship, behavioral health systems, quality improvement, and clinical research.

He has played an integral role in the development and advancement of psychiatric training programs, including successfully supporting continued ACGME accreditation of the General Psychiatry Residency Program and contributing to the establishment and initial ACGME accreditation of a new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.

Dr. Memon is particularly committed to supporting international medical graduates and creating mentorship, educational, and leadership opportunities that prepare trainees to become accomplished physicians, educators, and future healthcare leaders.
